Trimble acquires the assets of FabSuite

Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Trimble has acquired the assets of FabSuite LLC, a Williamsburg, Va., supplier of management information systems for steel fabrication. With the acquisition of FabSuite software, Trimble's portfolio now includes the structural steel work flow for planning, managing, designing, modeling, and automating the fabrication processes for maximized constructability, the company reports.

The FabSuite software business will be part of Trimble's Buildings and Infrastructure Segment.
