Direct Metals adds new bar code scanning software for specialty metal products

Direct Metals, an international steel service center with locations in Kennesaw, Ga., and Waukegan, Ill., has announced its new bar code scanning software for its specialty metal products. The software, from Zebra Technologies, helps increase accuracy in tracking specialty metal product orders and helps ensure they ship out quickly.

The company offers perforated metal, bar grating, expanded metal, safety grating, fiberglass grating, architectural metals, handrail components, and wire mesh products in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, and galvanized metal.
