Direct Metals installs wire mesh slitter machine

Steel service center Direct Metals has installed a wire mesh slitter at its Kennesaw, Ga., facility. The company provides slitting services for its steel, stainless steel, and coated wire mesh inventory as part of its fabrication services.

The firm’s inventory includes perforated metal, bar grating, expanded metal, safety grating, architectural metals, handrail components, and wire mesh products in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, fiberglass, and galvanized metal.
