Leeco Steel’s Houston facility reaches 10 years accident-free

Leeco Steel has announced that its Houston distribution and processing center has reached 10 years accident-free as of Jan. 20, 2024. The plant, which opened its doors Jan. 20, 2014, has never logged an accident.

In addition to steel plate distribution, the facility supplies cut-to-size plate and processed road plate to customers in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

“Nothing is more important than our team returning home at the end of the day, which in our line of work requires constant attentiveness and adherence to safety policies,” said Chad Schuh, vice president of operations. “As we expand our processed plate offerings at all Leeco facilities, we continue to evolve our procedures and policies to keep our team safe while meeting our customer needs.”
