Marlin Steel Wire Products acquires Madsen Wire Products

Marlin Steel Wire Products, a Baltimore-based manufacturer of steel wire and sheet metal products for the automotive, aerospace, defense, and medical industries, has announced its acquisition of Madsen Wire Products, Orland, Ind.

Madsen, a manufacturer of security partitions for fleet vehicles, wire mesh, wire grid, wire mats and forms, and refrigerator shelves, plans to hire additional workers. Marlin, which currently employs 80 workers, expects to hire up to 15% more employees in January.
