Ryerson announces acquisition of Apogee Steel

Ryerson Holding Corp., Chicago, a value-added processor and distributor of industrial metals, has acquired substantially all of the assets of Apogee Steel Fabrication Inc., a sheet metal fabricator based in Mississauga, Ont.

Apogee provides complex fabrication assemblies in stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon. Its capabilities include shearing, punching, forming, laser cutting, welding, and hardware assembly.
