Texas Iron & Metal expands location, services

Texas Iron & Metal, a family-owned and -operated steel supplier, has expanded its current stockyard location in Houston. Now situated on more than 10 acres, the company’s warehouse has increased to more than 120,000 sq. ft. Its yard space also has doubled for inventory stocking.

On-site services include pickup for advance orders, fast loading, and saw- and flame-cutting services. The inventory yard is open to the public.

The company has expanded its services with the addition of an HEM H160A-DC band saw for cutting a variety of steel shapes including pipe, beams, angle, tubing, and channel, as well as bundles up to 25 by 25 in. It also has installed a Cincinnati plate shear for cutting material up to 12 ft. wide and 3/16 to ½ in. thick.
