Imperial Systems to open new filter manufacturing facility

Imperial Systems Inc. has acquired a facility in Mercer, Pa., to be used for its rapidly growing Imperial Filtration division. The facility will be completely renovated within a few months and is expected to create 50 jobs.

This is the company’s second factory in the area, joining a 95,000-sq.-ft. building that it purchased and renovated four years ago. Between those two locations, the company plans to be operating with more than 200 employees over the next four years.

The Imperial Filtration division, which will house an ASHRAE Standard 199 test lab and rig, will manufacture cartridge filters for industrial dust collection equipment.
