AME launches Emerging Leaders Program

The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME), Rolling Meadows, Ill., has launched the AME Emerging Leaders program, a leadership development initiative. The program provides a platform for lean practitioners to participate in problem-solving work groups, network with peers, and serve the profession in a leadership capacity. It also puts participants on a fast track to AME volunteerism. The program seeks diversity based on geography, gender, ethnicity, and type of industry.

In this new initiative, the association is partnering with exclusive program sponsor Living As A Leader, a leadership training, coaching, and consulting firm that helps develop people into high-performing leaders.

The program is designed for rising leaders inside the AME member community with fewer than five years of experience working in a leadership or a nonleadership professional role.
