LA-CO Industries appoints president/CEO
LA-CO Industries, Elk Grove Village, Ill., a manufacturer of industrial marking products, temperature indicators, and plumbing and chemical products, has named Steven R. Smith as president/CEO. He succeeds John Hardin, who served as president/CEO for 17 years.
Smith comes to the company from JBT Corp., where he served as president for four years. He has an MBA in finance from The Wharton School and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Texas A&M University.
