Pro Metal Works marks 25th anniversary

Pro Metal Works Inc., De Forest, Wis., is celebrating 25 years in business. Beginning in a 2,000-sq.-ft. space in Waunakee, Wis., with a CNC turret press and CNC hydraulic press, the company added a 3,500-W laser after moving to a 7,500-sq.-ft. building two years later. In 2006, it moved to a 42,000-sq.-ft. building in De Forest and added another 30,000 sq. ft. in 2015. Today, Pro Metal operates two shifts and employs 48 people.

The company offers contract manufacturing of sheet metal products from 20 ga. to 0.188 in. thick. Materials include cold- and hot-rolled steel, galvanized, galvanneal, aluminized, aluminum, and stainless. Core processes are laser cutting, punching, drilling, bending, rolling, fastener insertion, and welding.
