Sargent Metal Fabricators breaks ground on $9.5 million expansion

Sargent Metal Fabricators Inc., a provider of precision metal fabrication, welding, powder coating, and assembly services to OEMs in a variety of markets, has broken ground on a facility expansion in Anderson, S.C. The 80,000-sq.-ft. expansion will include an additional fiber laser cutting and material handling system, as well as additional assembly areas and a 1,200-ft. automated powder coating system.

The project, scheduled for completion in the first half of 2022, is expected to create 50 new jobs over the next five years.
