Super Steel expands in Wisconsin

Super Steel LLC has announced its move into a new 29-acre, 220,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing campus in Mequon, Wis. The move is expected to be completed by year-end and includes the addition of employees, manufacturing capabilities, and services.

In addition to the company's existing full-service metal fabricating and engineering platform, it has added in-house, large-format/high-tonnage equipment, including a 12- by 30-ft. batch powder painting system, a 60-ft. wet paint booth, a 60-ft. blasting booth, a 1,000-ton by 22-ft. press brake, a 72- by 108-in.-travel boring bar, and a 12- by 47-ft. plasma/oxyfuel burning table. The new facility also has 30-ton crane capability throughout the manufacturing area.
