Ametek SMP names manufacturing manager for strip

Wallingford, Conn.-based Ametek Specialty Metal Products has appointed Dylan Nestor as its new manufacturing manager for strip. He brings to the position experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, and operations leadership.

In his previous role, Nestor was responsible for the operations and maintenance of multiple departments, including rolling, annealing, and leveling. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Ametek SMP Wallingford is part of the Specialty Metal Products Division of Ametek Inc., alongside Fine Tubes, Superior Tube, Ametek SMP Eighty Four, and Hamilton Precision Metals. The business manufactures high-purity metal strip, specialty shaped wire, engineered shaped components, and thermal management materials.
