Automec’s Econogauge suitable for bending one dimension at a time

Automec Inc. has introduced Econogauge as an alternative to a full CNC backgauge. It is suitable for fabricators that bend one dimension at a time on their workpieces.

The system comprises a small, rugged backgauge and a red LED digital display. The press brake operator slides the backgauge bar to the desired position indicated on the display and locks the backgauge in place at that dimension.
