AutoForm-AutoComp software helps metal formers with springback compensation

AutoForm Eng. GmbH has developed AutoForm-AutoComp software to help users evaluate and compare different springback compensation strategies and then select the one that is best suited to their needs. As a result, the final tool geometry and process setup can be defined efficiently, ensuring part geometry within the required tolerances and with a minimum number of correction loops in physical tryout, according to the company.

With the software, compensation loops are carried out automatically in the background. Users can select the number of iterations, check the status of these iterations, and visualize them on the screen.
