Laser system cuts strip steel, tubing

Balliu MTC nv offers a laser system that cuts both strip steel and tube.

Producing less and smaller scrap than sheet metal cutting, it allows separate and automatic unloading of scrap and parts. Thus the machine can continue production without supervision. The rounded sides of the strip steel often don’t have to be cut, allowing for faster cutting.

The machine also performs automatic cutting of round and square tubes up to 4.33 in. dia. and 22.97 ft. long.

It has two unloading positions for parts up to 19.69 ft. long. The 2.5-kW slab laser cuts steel up to 0.47 in. thick.
