Hougen Mfg.’s RotaGel lubricant protects cutting tools in high-torque machining applications

Hougen Manufacturing Inc. has introduced RotaGel™ Cutting Lube, an industrial lubricant that protects cutting tools in hard, high-torque machining applications. The product’s core ingredients are based off a food-grade lubricant. It is nontoxic and biodegradable.

With the consistency of a creamy gel, the lubricant has properties that help it adhere to the tool and reduce friction throughout the cut. Its blue coloring allows the operator to gauge where the lubricant is applied to ensure proper coverage. It can be used on all metals.

Applications include annular cutters, taps, drills, saws, reamers, end mills, and general lubrication.
