Hougen’s HMD2MT portable magnetic drill accepts accessories for tapping, reaming

Hougen Mfg. Inc. offers the HMD2MT portable magnetic drill. The new model features a #2 Morse taper arbor system, allowing it to accept accessories such as a tapping adapter, reamers, twist drills, a chuck adapter, and countersinking tools.

The drill also includes an adapter to use annular cutters up to a 2-in. depth of cut. A double dovetail slide allows adjustment of the motor assembly to a higher level to accommodate longer tooling or extended depth of cut, giving the drill a 7-in. stroke.

The drill is powered by a two-speed motor with a forward/reverse option for use when tapping holes.
