Grieve cooling chamber cools steel parts
No. 807 is a cooling chamber from Grieve, currently used for cooling oven trucks of steel parts at the customer’s facility. Its workspace dimensions are 84 by 96 by 72 in. A 7,000-CFM, 7-1/2-HP, remote-mounted exhaust blower pulls room air through load and exhaust.
The cooling chamber has aluminized steel construction and a ¼-in. plate floor, and it is sectioned to pass through a 72-in.-wide doorway. Twelve 24- by 24- by 6-in.-thick HEPA filters installed at the top of the workspace filter exhausted air.
