Weld-immune proximity sensors have 20-mm range

Pepperl+Fuchs' weld-immune 20/20 series inductive proximity sensors for detecting aluminum and steel feature a 20-mm sensing range.
The IP67 sensors have a Teflon®-coated brass housing with a Teflon-coated Ryton sensing face to repel weld slag. They are nonflush-mountable with PNP output and microquick disconnects and are UL-listed, CSA- and FM-approved, and carry the CE mark.
Designed for operating reliably in harsh conditions, including those in which hot weld slag and magnetic fields are present, the cylindrical-style sensors detect all metals at an equal distance.
