Hand-held stroboscopes deliver brightness to 10,000 lux

The CHECK•LINE® division of Electromatic Equipment Co. Inc. has introduced two hand-held, battery-powered stroboscopes. Model QB-LED employs 40 high-powered LEDs to deliver a peak brightness of 5,000 lux, and model QBS-LED, with 118 high-powered LEDs, yields a peak brightness of 10,000 lux.

Both models have an adjustable flash range—from 30 to 300,000 FPM (0.5 to 5,000 Hz)—that is displayed in user-selectable units (FPM, Hz, or 1/min.) on a backlit LCD. Adjustable flash duration helps ensure optimal brightness and image sharpness for every application.

Both models employ a menu structure that simplifies access to common and special functions. Operator controls are located on the back. A built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 7 hrs. of continuous operation on a single charge.
