Starrett Profile360 laser measurement system updated to generation 4

Generation 4 of the Profile360 laser measurement system, available from Starrett, includes several new features, including a 25 percent improvement in accuracy, as well as full-screen trend charts and alarm charts. Measurements can be exported to a database, and SPC charts and statistics can be viewed in real time.

Users now receive instant email notification when an alarm condition is met. The software also will execute reports based on events, save them as PDFs, and generate automatic emails to appropriate personnel. SPC charts may also be included on the final run report.

Other features include Ethernet cameras, quick-release guide rollers and cable connectors, simplified sensor cleaning, and LED light stacks.
