Wire has deoxiders

Hobart Brothers has formulated its FabCO® RXR, an AWS E70T-1 tubular wire with added deoxidizers to allow operators to weld through rust, mill scale, and light oil without precleaning.
Designed for flat and horizontal lap, fillet, and groove welding applications, the gas-shielded, flux-cored carbon steel wire also is suitable for welding clean plates and general fabrication applications, including welding on steel structures, storage vessels, earthmoving equipment, and railcar manufacturing.
The wire has a smooth, stable arc; a spray-type transfer; high deposition rates; and deep weld metal penetration. Slag is easily removed. The wire is suitable for use with a range of power settings and for single- or multipass welding of mild steels and certain alloy steels. It can be used in flat and horizontal positions using DCEP.
The wire operates with a 100 percent CO2 shielding gas and is available in diameters from 0.045 in. to 1/8 in.
