H-P Products to add tube laser

H-P Products, a tube bending and fabrication service provider based in Louisville, Ohio, will be taking delivery of a BLM Group LT8.20 tube laser in Q2 2023 to eliminate the need for secondary operations. The machine will allow the company to take on a variety of new projects and tube designs while helping to improve efficiency and ensure precision results.

The tube laser features a 4-kW fiber laser paired with a 45-degree active tilt cutting head. It can cut stainless steel and aluminum up to 5/16 in. thick and carbon steel up to 1/2 in. thick. The machine can process round tube and pipe from 0.50 to 8-5/8 in., as well as square tube from 0.50 to 8.0 in.

Features include a suction probe to keep the tube’s interior walls clean during cutting, part etching for product traceability or production data, and automatic bundle loading.
