Tube Southeast Asia rescheduled for October 2022
- September 23, 2021
- News Release
- Tube and Pipe Fabrication
New dates for the 14th and 13th editions of wire and Tube Southeast Asia have been announced. The two trade fairs will move to the later part of 2022, Oct. 5-7, at BITEC in Bangkok. Originally scheduled for February 2022, the events were rescheduled because of the ongoing ban of large-scale events in Bangkok. Varying quarantine requirements for international travelers also pose an added challenge for participants.
Gernot Ringling, managing director, Messe Düsseldorf Asia, said, “The decision to push the trade fairs to the later part of next year was made with careful consideration and in close consultation with relevant industry and regional partners. As wire and Tube Southeast Asia both have a very high percentage of international participation, we believe that this move would provide adequate opportunity for more comfortable planning for all parties involved. We expect the move to have a two-pronged benefit—that countries would be better equipped for international travel and getting together as we navigate the transition to the endemic stage of COVID-19, and consequently, that the demand for face-to-face meetings can eventually be realized in a safe, controlled environment.”
