Lerman Enterprises purchases Welded Tubes Inc.
Lerman Enterprises, South Bend, Ind., has announced the purchase of Welded Tubes Inc. (WTI), Orwell, Ohio, a producer of high-volume, small-diameter, tight-tolerance tubing for the automotive industry.
WTI joins Lerman Enterprises’ Lock Joint Tube Co. (LJT), a manufacturer of mechanical and structural-grade steel tubing. Together, the two companies will expand their size range and customer base. Currently LJT produces AHSS and DP grades, but not to the magnitude of WTI.
Lerman Enterprises’ Steel Warehouse will source and process the steel.
