Logopress Corp. and its North American distributor and technical center, Accurate Die Design Inc., have announced that the Logopress3 Blank module is now available for users of Autodesk® Inventor® 2010 and 2011 digital prototyping software.
The module offers FEA together with flattening capabilities, helping designers and estimators determine the theoretical blank of a 3-D formed part. The prototyping software gives manufacturers the ability to design digitally, visualize, and simulate how a product will work under real-world conditions before it is built.
The FEA module includes automatic meshing, forming constraints, thinning and thickening, and controlled animation, and it shows stress and strain.
